ADELEKE is a Nigerian politician and businessman, who has served as governor of Osun state since 2022. This pendant light draws its inspiration from the iconic sophisticated, unique shape of ADELEKE’S fila hat. This cap can be hand woven traditional fabric, cotton, velvet, or damask. Although the fila hat can be seen worn by other men in Nigeria, it is usually worn either to the left or right above the ear, the right to signify an unmarried mad and the left to identify a married man, the ADELEKE hat points upward in an iconic manner to signify modernity in style, wealth and societal status.
ADELEKE pendant light is created as a symbol of wealth and social status.
PRODUCT FEATURES
ADELEKE pendant light is made of metal and polished deep brass engraved with tribal scarification. The scarification involves the use of both industrial and manual welding techniques and science to embody the tribal scars. The pendant light directly mimics the iconic shape of the ADELEKE hat in its design. Illumination happens through a glass bulb in the form.
