NAMCHI are dolls of the Namji or Dowayo people mountain people of Cameroon. This beautifully crafted dolls are fertility dolls historically made for young girls who use them to mirror the responsibility of their own mothers. These figures are stylized anthropomorphic forms standing on bowed legs that the shoulders reproduce, has a long neck and a reduced head. Embraced with ornaments or beads. This NAMCHI dolls are used mainly by women that are not able to reproduce for complex fertility rituals

PRODUCT FEATURES
NAMCHI chair is made of wood, metal and polished deep brass engraved with tribal scarification. The scarification involves the use of both industrial and manual welding techniques and science to embody the tribal scars. The chair directly mimics the NAMCHI doll in its design, as well as the use of tinny rings to represent the ornaments embraced on the dolls.
