NGONI is a tribe in southern Africa that spans across South Africa, Swaziland, Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi the reason for the wide spread of the NGONI tribe was as a result of the Zulu wars
NGONI ottoman was inspired by one of the NGONI headrest or pillows to elevate the head above the ground while sleeping from insects and also to protect ceremonial coiffure. the NGONI headrest can sometimes be used as stools, the NGONI headrest becomes part of the individual so much that the individual is buried with his or her headrest.
PRODUCT FEATURES
NGONI ottoman is made of wood, polished brass, Gray patterned fabric with tribal scarification. The scarification involves the use of both industrial and manual welding techniques and science to embody the tribal scars. The ottoman has two base like attachment almost like a leg of a moving animal to hold the cushion and platform on top.
