APOTI means bench in (Yoruba) ethnic group Nigeria. it is a contemporary ottoman design inspired by cultures from Nigeria mostly the Yoruba ethnic group and could also be seen to be used by the Igbo’s and Hausa culture in Nigeria. originally used for seating in courtyard areas, storytelling spaces, cooking areas and some other parts of the living.
The APOTI features different play of tringle in its design a gold brass finish with a tribal scarification. this ottoman design represents a premium upscaled representation of African the original APOTI bench used by ancient African’s as seen in the image references
