AYAOBA means wife of the king in Yoruba language spoken in Nigeria. This table lamp is a combination of the attire of the king from western Africa and a queen from east Africa to make a fusion. the design uses the Yoruba king crown from Nigeria west Africa and the Maasai queen or princes neck jewellery from eastern Africa.
AYAOBA table lamp is created as a symbol of unification.
PRODUCT FEATURES
AYAOBA table lamp is made of metal, and polished deep brass engraved with tribal scarification. The scarification involves the use of both industrial and manual welding techniques and science to embody the tribal scars. The table lamp makes a fusion between the king’s crown in western Africa and the queens jewellery in eastern African in its design. Illumination happens through a glass bulb at the meeting point between the to elements.
