BAMILEKE is a tribe from Cameroon in central Africa. They inhabit the western plateau of Cameroon. This floor lamp draws its inspiration from the BAMILEKE chief hat. The hat is a crucial component of the BAMILEKE chief, worn during public ceremonies. It is hand tailored from cultural indigenous materials like raffia, the hat features a bowlike form with an extension to one side, the extension has a flowery form that gives it a sophisticated outlook.
