FANTI people are part of the Akan group of ethnicities located in the central and western coastal region of Ghana. FANTI mirror was inspired by the FANTI fertility doll. The FANTE doll was traditionally carried by women on their backs and believed it will bring pregnancy and a healthy childbirth. the Ashanti women would dress the embryo appearing figure with cloths and adorn with jewellery as an expression of idealized beauty, they are supposed to Favor the appearance of their future children. The doll features a big-headed motif with joint eyebrows and nose, as well as suspended arms attached to a cylindrical body.

FANTI mirror is made of metal, glass mirror and polished deep brass engraved with tribal scarification. The scarification involves the use of both industrial and manual welding techniques and science to embody the tribal scars. the pendant light mimics the embryo looking form of the FANTI doll in form of glass with the joint eyebrows and nose coated and polished with brass, The form is embraced with jewellery as seen with the FANTE doll.
