FANTI people are located in the central and western coastal region of Ghana. FANTI chair was inspired by the FANTI fertility doll. The FANTE doll was traditionally carried by women on their backs and believed it will bring pregnancy and a healthy childbirth. the Ashanti women would dress the embryo appearing figure with cloths and adorn with jewellery as an expression of idealized beauty, they are supposed to Favor the appearance of their future children. The doll features a big-headed motif with joint eyebrows and nose, as well as suspended arms attached to a cylindrical body.
FANTI pendant light is created to symbolize fertility and health for the Ashanti empire.
