MAASAI is an ethnic group in northern, central and southern Kenya and northern Tanzania. the MAASAI pendant light was inspired by the attire of the MAASAI tribe of Kenya and Tanzania. This very sophisticated attire can also be seen worn by the MURSI TRIBE of Ethiopia. it features a beautifully tanned and decorated leather dress or fabric, and a coiled brass amulets and necklaces.
MAASAI pendant light was made to directly represent the elegance and beauty of the attire of the MAASAI and MURSI tribe. Hence the drop light is a symbol of elegance and sophistication.
PRODUCT FEATURES
MAASAI suspended light is made of metal, polished brass engraved with tribal scarification. The scarification involves the use of both industrial and manual welding techniques and science to embody the tribal scars. The suspended light embodies the sophisticated and elegant use of coiled brass amulets, earrings and necklaces for its design as well as round illuminating white bulbs attached to each of the drops.
