MANGAM is a mask created by the mama ethnic group in Nigeria, north of the Jos plateau. These artistic masks of the mama consist of a high styled wooden zoomorphic head primarily of a bush cow, worn with a thick overlay costume to disguise the dancer. The MANGAM mask symbolized a protective bush spirit and emphasize, through an energetic dance masquerade during mama festival. The center table was inspired by the MANGAM mask of the mama people.

PRODUCT FEATURES
MANGAM center table is made of wood, polished deep brass engraved with tribal scarification. The scarification involves the use of both industrial and manual welding techniques and science to embody the tribal scars. The center table directly mimics the zoomorphic cow head of the mama mask for its form, with a round glass top to complete the table.
